About Us

Earth in Focus was created and developed by Adam SewardGeorge StoyleMatt Doggett and Richard Shucksmith - a result of our shared interest for photography, education and the natural world. We all met whilst studying at university and discovered our shared interest in photographing the world's wildlife and wild places. Over time this turned into understanding the pressures, conflicts and benefits that exist between mankind and mother nature.

We use our professional and scientific knowledge to tell insightful, captivating stories, generating a unique blend of science and creative vision.

Our numbers have swelled and we are delighted to have new members - Dan Bolt, Kleber de Burgos, Steve Race and Gary Peart, all of whom are working with Earth In Focus, contributing to our blogs, stories and expeditions

Earth in Focus images are used to promote the valuable work of national and international conservation organisations and tell nature's stories that many wouldn't see. Our images have excelled in a number of international photographic competitions and appeared in books, magazines and newspapers around the world.

Any of our images are available as high resolution digital files for commercial, corporate or editorial use and can be purchased through our Stock Library. High quality prints are available in a variety of media. Please contact us if you have particular requirements that you cannot find on the site.

We hope you enjoy exploring Earth in Focus and take pleasure in looking at our work. If you would like to book us for one of our popular talks, please contact us.
